School Project – This magazine cover layout was an expansion on a design project showcasing how a design could influence the meaning or messaging of the periodical. Yachting Global showcased a positive connotation around the global yachting experience. The use of a modern slab-serif font paired with a high axis sans-serif create the expected emotion of luxury. The article pull quotes are designed to elegantly guide the user to the inner pages. The color palette is based on the royal blue of the yachts hull further reinforcing the opulent imagery.
